Spiritual Development
"The Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. "
Matthew 28:18-19
Spiritual development is the all-encompassing purpose for the existence of The Servant's Heart.
Wednesday afternoon bible studies, daily devotions and prayer, discipleship classes, leadership and character development classes, special teaching from our mission teams, and the beginning of a worship center at the ministry are all integral parts of our spiritual development goals.
Our ministry’s focus continues to be to see people come to faith, disciple them into a mature Christian liefstyle and give them the tools they need to fulfill God’s unique plan for their lives… both here and in eternity.
The local Lutheran church is becoming increasingly involved to fulfill the command to baptize and partake of the Lord’s Supper. Lay people from the church are key to growing this group of believers into a congregation, which is at this time a preaching center of the Lutheran Church of Guatemala.
The message of all we do in Jesus’ name is this…
God has sent us to you… to love you and care for you, it is what Jesus did… and it is what we do for the least of these.
